Motherland is a play about three remarkable women. Based on the incredible true story of Nell Tritton, a Brisbane socialite who married Russia’s deposed Prime Minister, Alexander Kerensky, Motherland is gripping contemporary theatre, weaving stories of belonging, love and loss.

House in the Dunes is a bilingual performance work and part of a long-term collaboration between theatre companies and artists from First Nations Australia, Australia, Japan & New Zealand. It’s a story of entrapment and an ode to the natural world in the looming threat of the climate emergency.

HANAKO by Katherine Lyall-Watson and Caroline Dunphy is a hyper-realistic fantasy of a girl’s journey from a traditional Japanese Noh play into an east-west inspired future world. HANAKO premiered at the Brisbane Powerhouse as part of Brisbane Festival 2016.

AKIRUNO is a transcultural, international collaboration between IDIOT SAVANT theatre company (Japan), Belloo Creative (Australia) and Good Company Arts (New Zealand). The work is an ecologically-focused, durational site work that draws in part from traditional Japanese folk tales.
