Make Community Connection Possible This AusArt Day
This AusArt Day, 22 October, Belloo is aiming to raise $5,000 to support the people, relationships and opportunities that make our work possible — including building meaningful connections with communities through theatre.
Meet Aunty Roxy McDonald, an actor, writer and proud Mandandanji, Wangan and Darambal woman.
Belloo has had the privilege of working with Roxy on Rovers, a celebration of the grit, courage and experiences of Australian women. From its original stage production to regional touring, a screen adaptation and school performances, the work has continued to find new audiences and connections.
Hear from Roxy about the importance of storytelling, community and the relationships that give theatre its meaning.
All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
