Dame Quentin Bryce Joins Belloo as Patron

We are thrilled to announce that The Honourable Dame Quentin Bryce AD CVO has joined Belloo as our inaugural Patron.

Dame Quentin first encountered Belloo at the Women of the World Festival in Biloela, where she attended a rehearsed reading of ‘Back to Bilo’. Since then, she has continued to support our work, including attending our Community Night during the premiere season of ‘Back to Bilo’.

“I was very impressed by their artistry, passion, and commitment to social justice. I am delighted to join Belloo as their inaugural Patron.” — Dame Quentin Bryce

As Australia’s 25th Governor-General and a lifelong advocate for social justice and human rights, Dame Quentin’s values resonate deeply with Belloo’s commitment to creating work that centres community, compassion and connection.

We are honoured to welcome Dame Quentin as Patron and look forward to the journey ahead.
