HELP Make theatre possible!

For over 13 years, Belloo has invested in original contemporary theatre, mentorship, intercultural exchange and community connection. We have:

  • Produced 11 major productions nationally and internationally;

  • Toured from the ANZAC Memorial Club in Biloela to a 400-year-old temple in Japan;

  • Won awards;

  • Brought stories out of the shadows and onto Australian stages;

  • Collaborated with renowned and avant-garde Japanese artists and companies;

  • Mentored 11 emerging artists;

  • Employed more than 50 Australian artists in 2026 so far; and

  • Built international connections across Japan, New Zealand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, South Korea and Singapore through conferences, performances, fellowships, residencies and cultural exchange.

Through it all, we’ve held our relationships with artists, communities and collaborators close to our hearts.

Make Theatre Possible is about investing in the people, relationships and opportunities that make this work possible — and carrying them into Belloo’s next decade.

Mentorship

Give an emerging artist their next opportunity. Your donation supports our annual mentorship program, helping emerging artists, designers and crew work alongside experienced practitioners, develop their skills and take the next step in their careers.

Intercultural Exchange

Build creative relationships that cross borders. Your donation helps Belloo invest in international research, residencies and long-term collaborations that give Australian and international artists the time to share practices and discover new ways of telling stories.

Community Connection

Put communities at the heart of the creative process. Your donation helps Belloo travel to regional and remote communities, listen, run workshops and create pathways for our work to return to those communities.
