After their 2020 national tour of ‘Rovers’ was postponed thanks to COVID-19, Queensland's much-loved actors Barbara Lowing and Roxanne McDonald found themselves without a show and in need of a pivot-perfect way to reach audiences. Based on the lives of these two great performers, ‘Rovers: Return to Country’ captures the same spirit, honesty, and hilarity as the original stage production, with Rox and Barb unleashed upon beautiful locations in Queensland as they head back to the places that birthed them.
