Danielle is a freelance producer who specialises in arts marketing, audience development, community engagement and governance.
Her experience includes ArtCentral Project Manager at Edinburgh’s WHALE Arts Agency where she delivered community cultural development projects and produced an Edinburgh Fringe Festival production. WHALE Arts Agency won the 2003 Arts & Business award and is recognised by the Scottish Arts Council as a ‘best practice’ arts and community engagement organisation.
From 2004-2005 Danielle was the Marketing Manager at Interplay, which was recognised as the premier young playwrights’ festival in the Asia Pacific region. From 2005-2006 Danielle was Marketing Officer (Youth Arts) at Queensland Arts Council and in this role she worked closely with regional communities and schools to coordinate QAC regional tours.
As the Online Marketing Specialist at QPAC, Danielle reported to the Director of Marketing and managed the QPAC & qtix websites as well as the eDM campaign schedule that contributed to the sale of over 650,000 tickets per year.
Moving into the private sector, Danielle was the Velocity Campaign Manager at Virgin and Producer at ourbrisbane.com. In both these roles, Danielle was responsible for marketing, communications, content creation and promotions.
Danielle is a qualified secondary Drama teacher with experience working with independent artists and companies. She has held a Board position with JUTE Theatre Company and also been an assessor for the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) grants.
Danielle holds an Grad. Dip Creative Enterprise & Management (QUT) and BA Education Majoring in Drama & English (Griffith). Danielle is currently the Team Leader of the Regional Community Development Team at Brisbane City Council and a partner of Belloo Creative.
