Danielle has over 15 years experience working with artists, cultural organisations and the government sector. Committed to the making and telling of diverse contemporary Australian stories across multiple artforms, Danielle works from a collaborative framework to impact Australia’s cultural landscape.
Since 2013 Danielle has been developing her practice as independent producer. Her work in this field includes arts marketing; audience development; community engagement; and General Manager of Belloo Creative. Danielle has produced festival works, international collaborations, touring works and delivered a range of sector and artist development programs. Belloo Creative will be the Resident Company at Queensland Theatre (QT) from January 2019.
With considerable experience in marketing, business planning and partnership brokerage, Danielle is also a qualified secondary Drama teacher. Danielle has held Board positions with JUTE Theatre Company (Cairns) and Playlab (Brisbane) and has also been an assessor for the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) and various Brisbane City Council grants and innovation initiatives.
Danielle holds a Grad. Dip Creative Enterprise & Management (Queensland University of Technology) and BA Education Majoring in Drama & English (Griffith University). Danielle is currently Community & Venue Manager of Brisbane City Council’s Seven Hills Hub, and a partner of Belloo Creative.
