From 2019 Belloo Creative is the ‘company in residence’ at Queensland’s state theatre company, Queensland Theatre.

Since 2017 (and thanks to support from the Australia Council for the Arts), Belloo Creative has been part of Australia’s delegation to the annual Tokyo Performing Arts Meeting (TPAM) in Yokohama, Japan.

Belloo is thrilled to be collaborating with international companies: Good Company Arts (New Zealand) and Idiot Savant Theatre Company (Japan) to produce the work-in-development SAND.

Belloo has a proven track record of successfully co-producing new Australian works with venues and festivals that include: Brisbane Festival, Queensland Theatre, Brisbane Powerhouse, Critical Stages, Critical Path, NORPA, Queensland University of Technology, Metro Arts, Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts and the Maleny Arts Council. The company has also toured nationally, taking their work to regional and metrotroplitan venues in Queensland, New South Wales and Canberra.

We value cross-cultural collaboration, risk-taking and rigorous process. We seek out partnerships, growing them into powerful relationships.
